Melancholic.

This series of works was specifically created for Westobou Galleries “Seeds” exhibition ( 2020). My Goal was to create a series of small works that paired abstract colorfully washed backgrounds with monotone portraiture. I also used a combination of mineral spirit and varnish to tear away some of the layers to create a degraded atmosphere. - Please also keep in mind that all paintings shown below were sold during the exhibition-
